Hey yall, It's 2/17/2025. I had forgotten about this blog that I apparently started back in 2008. SO I am just now looking through all the posts to see what was up. Turns out, quite a lot! 2008 was when we were recording my Independent Music Award winning album that Will Ackerman produced titled, "The Path Ahead". So, that was awesome! Anyway, although it's difficult to believe, thids post happens some 17 years since I began this blog. Unreal!!! Well, now that I know it's here I think I'll start using it. I don't hang out on FaceBook much anymore because my account got hacked and they suspended me instead of the hacker! So I'll start posting here and sharing the links there! Stay tuned. I have a lot to say about music, crypto, AI, AI, AI, chronic pain, and AI automation. :)
Yes, I'm hooked. I have been studying AI since ChatGPT came out most every day forom 2 to 10 hours a day and have taken several courses and participated in scores of tutorials in order to try and grasp just a hint of what these new AI tools can do. It occured to me that at 66, time doesn't feel the same way as 16 does. It becomes more precious with each passing day. So. I am all about using new AI powered tools to SAVE TIME!!! I hope my senior friends will appreciate the presentation of this information when the web site is finishe at www.GrandPas.ai :)

Favorite Sounds, bread and Ralph Geddes

I am a music guy. So much of my life experience is about sound. (you'd think I'd listen better when Kimberly is talking to me) Anyway...one of my favorite sounds of all time is most often heard in France. It is the crackkkkling yet crissspy sound of the end of a freshly baked baguette breaking off into my mouth as I bite it.....warm. All by itself. Sans jam, butter, cheese or anything else for that matter...simply bread....at least for the first few bites anyway. The sound tells me that amazing taste of fresh baked awesomeness is to follow. Priscilla

I am so very sad. Our dog Priscilla died today. She was a handful to be sure. Those of you who know us know she was much like me. Inclined to massive mood swings in terribly short periods of time. She was staying with Robin while we are out of the country. Robin is one of a small group of people Priscilla trusted enough and loved enough to let close enough to bite. She died peacefully in her sleep beside Robin's bed. I'm glad that she and Robin became friends. Priscilla bit all her friends at least once. I wish she could bite me now. Au revoir lil' bit.  Good Tuesday morning 03.18.25 yall! :) So...I hope you're not feeling too rough from your St. Patrick's Day festivities!   March 17 comes with mixed signals emotions around here as it's my mother's birthday. She's moved on some time ago now but every St. Patrick's day I feel a little closer to her and miss her more at the same time.  So...my 1st appointment with my new cardio doc since the heart attacks 2 weeks ago today, is at 9 this morning. I've got my list of questions and am looking forward to him laying out how much I'm allowed to do as far as exercise, walking  (maybe even light jogging for the first time in so many years), deep breathing etc is concerned.  I gotta tell yall....I feel like a different person.  Apparently some of the awful, consistent and ever present pain and spikes and visits from the "screwdriver man" were because of the condition of my arteries.  2 of them were 95-99% blocked.
